Tonnage Measurement

Tonnage measurement surveys can be carried out through either the YDSA or MECAL. A tonnage measurement is required if the vessel needs to be registered under Part 1 of British Registry, this provides a proof of ownership of a vessel and may be required to take out a marine mortgage of over £50,000.

I am registered with both MECAL and the YDSA to carry out Tonnage Measurement Surveys. These organizations have standard fees for this service.
