Design

I have designed a number of commercial passenger vessels for clients throughout the UK. This has included every stage of the design from the first concepts discussed with the client leading to General Arrangement drawings, to the full structural drawings and the final stability analysis of the working vessel.

The structure is generally to the exacting requirements of the MCA and Lloyds Rules.

The drawings and information supplied to the yard included everything from the steel ordering schedule, vessel specification, weld schedule, structural steelwork drawings ….. to the stern gear arrangement, and how to get a wheelchair into the toilets.
